Comprehensive Services Modular Services Implementation Advisor Network Pricing For established practices, we offer the three ways in which we can help you: Comprehensive Efficiency Evaluation Services, Modular Services and/or our Advisor Network. We also offer custom-designed packages, depending on the needs of your practice and/or business. For further information or to request a quote, please email us at: info@efficientpractice.com. We can schedule a web-based presentation on these services as well. This is an in-depth analysis of your practice's (or business's) current operational condition with detailed written recommendations on how to improve efficiency. For the full evaluation, the way we charge for our services is based on a negotiated base fee, usually set at a rate of around 1.5% of your firm’s gross revenue for the last yearly accounting period.
We then perform the evaluation, tracking the actual hours to complete the project measured at a rate of $150/hr. Once complete, we compare the totaled hourly rate to the base fee. If the totaled hourly rate falls short of the base fee, we will discount our fee to the lower number. If the hourly rate rises above the base fee, we cap the final fee to the negotiated base fee. In this way, you have a stop-loss number that the fee cannot go above and we hold ourselves accountable for our own efficiency. Generally, we ask for 50% of the negotiated base fee in advance with the remaining balance (the lesser of either the base amount or totaled hourly fee amount) due upon presentation of the final report. We also offer solution implementation support services to make the process of transitioning to a more efficient firm quick and easy. This critical step is designed to provide you with detailed step-by-step instructions on what you need to do to fully implement the plan and transform your practice (business) into an efficient and profitable operation. This fee is dependant upon the extent of the work uncovered in the evaluation and to what extent you would like assistance in implementing it. We can offer either on-site or remote assistance for implementing your solution plan. This is offered as follows:
If your practice is located within the State of California, travel will be based on Automobile gas, tolls, etc. If travel involves outside the State of California, 'best efforts' will be made to secure the lowest available rates for plane fare, car rental and lodging. As an alternative, you may wish to consider engaging us on a limited basis, selecting one or more of the four efficiency modules that we offer: Though we recommend the full evaluation services to make the biggest impact on your firm, you have the option of selecting two of four modules of operational efficiency for us to customize an evaluation. The Modular Evaluation is performed remotely using the latest technology for inter-connecting with your office computers. We interview you and your staff and you provide information, documents and details on the targeted areas selected. The cost for the Modular Service has recently been reduced to $2,500, payable in advance. This represents a substantial decrease and is a fixed cost, regardless of the size or complexity of your firm.
The result is a detailed report with written recommendations on how you may be able to increase the efficiency of your operations in the selected areas. We will also include a projection of the economic benefit to your firm of following those recommendations and we additionally provide a proposal on services we can provide to assist you in implementing the recommendations. For more information, click on one of these two links: Clearly, what sets our services apart from all others is our Implementation Services. If chosen, we can move into your firm for a period of time to oversea the process of change management. We can assist in the installation and customization of technology, the training of staff, and the mentoring of management to accomplish three key goals: 1) to enable the implementation of efficient operations as quickly and with the least impact on your firm's daily operations as possible, 2) to provide additional on-site support for those unexpected events/conditions that may arise and, 3) to provide a stable, gradual transition to the more efficient platforms, techniques, systems and procedures without overwhelming those who will assume these new duties. Often, our consultant may be installed as an acting Chief Operations Officer or similar title during this phase to give him/her the appropriate authority to enact positive change. The Efficient Practice Advisor Network is offered as a one-year (renewable) membership. The contract automatically renews for another year unless you state otherwise, in writing, at least 30 days prior to the end of your current contract period.
