Any and all information collected by us will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, reused, rented, loaned, or otherwise disclosed. Any information you give to David Lawrence and Associates will be held with the utmost care, and will not be used in ways that you have not consented to. A more detailed explanation about how we safeguard your personal information is described below. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to let us know.

Resale or disclosure of information to third parties:

David Lawrence and Associates does not sell, rent, loan, trade, or lease any personal information collected at our site or by any other means, including any membership forms, e-mail lists, shopping-history, personal profiles, evaluation forms or address lists. Furthermore, we do not use any personal information in public presentations, written articles or other forms of media without express written consent.

Browser information collected on the website:

David Lawrence and Associates analyzes website logs to constantly improve the value of the materials available on website. Our website logs are not personally identifiable, and we make no attempt to link them with the individuals that actually browse the site.

Use of cookies:

David Lawrence and Associates does not use cookies on this site to monitor user activity. Exceptions are:

• Using the message board/forum pages (a future enhancement to the website) places a cookie on your machine to remember your user id and to maintain a listing of posts you have already read. If the cookie is cleared, the posts you have already read will show-up as unread.

• Certain advertisements may place a cookie as they are served from outside of our domain. Your browser will inform you of such cookie placement in it's status-bar. (At present, no such advertisements appear on the website)

Privacy of our email lists:

David Lawrence and Associates maintains several email lists to keep David Lawrence and Associates clients and friends informed about breaking events. Individuals must affirmatively ask to join our mailing lists by using the links provided on the website or by contacting staff directly at webmaster@efficientpractice.com. We do not sell, rent, loan, trade, or lease the addresses on our list to anyone. Our list server is not available through the Internet, but is safely tucked away on a local personal computer using several layers of passwords that use near military encryption standards and it is heavily fire-walled (dual layer).

Privacy of your company information:

In the course of working with firms, we may require access to company files and records, most of which are proprietary, confidential and subject to non-disclosure rules. When we contract with a firm, we sign a non-disclosure agreement that protects the privacy of this information and the interests of the firm and its clients (customers).
